Strain gauges measure the deformation of a metal body under tensile load. These strain gauges generate an electrical signal proportional to the load, which is processed by a microprocessor and then shown on the display. The measuring device is shock-proof and waterproof according to IP65, high precision of 0.2%, radio range up to 40 m, small and compact design, economical in power consumption (up to 450 operating hours with one set of batteries), safety factor 4.
